HIGHWAYS:  Designates a certain portion of Louisiana Highway 384 in Calcasieu Parish
as the "Captain Brian Bourgeois Memorial Traffic Circle"
1	AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 384 in Calcasieu Parish as the "Captain Brian
3 Bourgeois Memorial Traffic Circle"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 384, at the roundabout intersection of
6Ham Reid Road and Big Lake Road, in Calcasieu Parish shall be known and is hereby
7designated as the "Captain Brian Bourgeois Memorial Traffic Circle".
8 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are
received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
