HIGHWAYS: Designates certain portions of Louisiana Highways in Calcasieu and St.
Tammany parishes
1 AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 384 in Calcasieu Parish as the "Captain Brian
3 Bourgeois Memorial Traffic Circle"; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway
4 40 in Folsom, Louisiana, as the "Deputy Hilery Mayo Memorial Highway; and to
5 provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 384, at the roundabout intersection of
8Ham Reid Road and Big Lake Road, in Calcasieu Parish shall be known and is hereby
9designated as the "Captain Brian Bourgeois Memorial Traffic Circle".
10 Section 2. The portion of Louisiana Highway 40 between Lee Road and Magee Road
11in Folsom, Louisiana, shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Deputy Hilery Mayo
12Memorial Highway".
13 Section 3. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
14hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting these designations
15provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
16actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
17exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Circle".
Designates a portion of La. Hwy. 40, between Magee Road and Lee Road in Folsom, La.,
as the "Deputy Hilery Mayo Memorial Highway".
Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting these highway designations provided local or private monies
are received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts,
and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
