VETERANS: Provides relative to Louisiana veterans cemeteries
1 AN ACT
2To enact R.S. 29:295(E), relative to the Department of Veterans Affairs; to provide relative
3 to burials at state and national veterans cemeteries; to provide for the powers of the
4 department; to provide relative to the adoption of rules; and to provide for related
5 matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 29:295(E) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 ยง295. Louisiana veterans cemeteries

10 E. The department may adopt administrative rules regarding burial eligibility
11 of individuals described in 38 U.S.C. 2408(i)(2).

Present law provides burial eligibility in La. veterans cemeteries for individuals described
in 38 U.S.C. 2402 and Section 1.620 of 38 C.F.R.
