Four of the five members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the 10 transaction of business, and all actions of the board shall require the favorable vote 11 of at least four members of the board unless only four members are present. Present law (R.S. 15:572.1(E)) provides that four members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, and all actions of the board shall require the favorable vote of at least four members of the board. Proposed law amends present law to provide that four of five members of the board shall constitute a quorum unless only four members are present. Further provides that when only four members are present, a favorable vote of at least three members is required for the board to take action.
