Abstract: Requires instruction relative to organ donation in public high schools.
Proposed law requires public high schools to provide instruction relative to organ donation as a part
of the curriculum of an existing required course.
Proposed law requires each public school governing authority to use free resources from a La. organ
procurement organization in the implementation of proposed law.
Proposed law is applicable to all public high schools, including charter schools.
