R.S. 3:4712 (C), (D), (F), and (G) are hereby repealed in their entirety. 9 Section 2. R.S. 30:136.1(C) and Chapter 5 of Subtitle I of Title 30 of the Louisiana 10Revised Statutes of 1950, comprised of R.S. 30:301 through 303, are hereby repealed in their 11entirety. 12 Section 3. R.S. 39:98.5 is hereby repealed in its entirety. 13 Section 4. R.S. 49:214.8.7 is hereby repealed in its entirety. 14 Section 5. On the effective date of this Act, the state treasurer is hereby authorized 15and directed to transfer to the state general fund any remaining balances in the funds 16repealed by the Act which originated as House Bill No. 254 of this 2023 Regular Session of 17the Legislature. 18 Section 6. This Act shall take effect and become operative if and when the proposed 19amendment of Article VII and Article IX of the Constitution of Louisiana contained in the 20Act which originated as House Bill No. 254 of this 2023 Regular Session of the Legislature 21is adopted at a statewide election and becomes effective. Present law (R.S. 30:136.1(C) and 301-303) establishes the Louisiana Investment Fund for Enhancement and provides for deposits and uses of monies in such fund. Proposed law repeals present law. Present law (R.S. 39:98.5) establishes the Millennium Leverage Fund and provides for deposits and uses of monies in such fund. Proposed law repeals present law. Present law (R.S. 49:214.8.7) establishes the Atchafalaya Basin Conservation Fund and provides for deposits and uses of monies in such fund. Proposed law repeals present law. Proposed law transfers to the state general fund any remaining monies in the funds repealed by proposed law.
