Registration Day
1	AN ACT
2To enact R.S. 17:2121.1, relative to voter registration; and to provide for related matters.
3Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
4 Section 1.  This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Robert J. Jackson
5Louisiana High School Voter Registration Day Act".
6 Section 2.  R.S. 17:2121.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง2121.1.  Voter registration day; high schools
8	A.  The first Tuesday after the first Monday in May annually shall be known
9 as Louisiana High School Seniors Voter Registration Day.
10	B.  Nothing in this Section shall be construed to create any duty or obligation
11 for the secretary of state or any registrar of voters.
