PROPERTY/PUBLIC: Authorizes the exchange of certain state property in Calcasieu Parish
Synopsis of Senate Amendments
1.Adds authorization for the commissioner of administration and the secretary of
the Louisiana Department of Health to transfer property in St. Tammany to the
St. Tammany Parish School Board.
2.Makes technical changes.
Digest of Bill as Finally Passed by the Senate
Authorizes the commissioner of administration and the president of McNeese State
University to exchange certain state property in Calcasieu Parish for property owned by the
city of Lake Charles.
Further authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the Dept. of
Transportation and Development to transfer certain state property in St. Tammany Parish to
the St. Tammany Parish Government.
Further authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the La. Dept. of
Health to transfer certain state property in St. Tammany Parish to the St. Tammany Parish
School Board.
Provides for the reservation of mineral rights.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
