Abstract: Prohibits bare-knuckle boxing contests and competitions by the State Boxing and
Wrestling Commission.
Proposed law defines "bare-knuckle boxing" as any boxing match, fighting contest, or competition
between two or more persons who use their hands or a closed fist to strike another without gloves
or without any form of padding on their hands or fists.
Proposed law requires the State Boxing and Wrestling Commission to prohibit bare-knuckle boxing.
Proposed law provides for certain penalties for individuals or groups that are noncompliant with
proposed law.
