Present law, relative to waterworks districts, provides generally that the districts are governed by a board of five members, to be known as waterworks commissioners. Present law provides that if one municipality, or any part of a municipality, is included in the district, the board of commissioners shall have eight members, one of the additional members to be appointed by the police jury and the remaining two to be appointed by the governing authority of the municipality.
