R.S. 10:9-102(a)(29) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S. 710:9-102(a)(82) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 ยง9-102. Definitions and index of definitions 9 (a) Chapter 9 definitions. Present law defines "deposit account" and provides that a deposit account does not include investment property or accounts evidenced by an instrument. Proposed law retains present law and adds that a deposit account does not include a central bank digital currency. Proposed law defines the term "central bank digital currency".
