Abstract: Provides that a deposit account does not include a central bank digital currency.
Present law defines "deposit account" and provides that a deposit account does not include
investment property or accounts evidenced by an instrument. Proposed law retains present law and adds that a deposit account does not include a central bank
digital currency.
