HIGHWAYS:  Designates the bridge located on Interstate 55 service road in Manchac
between Lake Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain as the "Robert E. Meyers, Jr.
Memorial Bridge"
1	AN ACT
2To designate a certain bridge in the highway system; to designate the bridge located on
3 Interstate 55 service road between Lake Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain as the
4 "Robert E. Meyers, Jr. Memorial Bridge"; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  The bridge located on Interstate 55 service road that connects Lake
7Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Robert
8E. Meyers, Jr. Memorial Bridge".
9 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
10hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
11provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
12actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
13exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
