Abstract: Removes the Medicaid exclusion from the "net operating revenue" definition.
Present law defines "net operating revenue" as the gross revenues of the emergency ground
ambulance service provider for the provision of emergency and nonemergency ground ambulance
transportation services, excluding any Medicaid reimbursements, minus any deducted amounts for
bad debts, charity care, and payer discounts.
Proposed law removes the Medicaid exclusion from the definition. Proposed law otherwise retains
present law.
