HIGHWAYS:  Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 398 as the "Commander Glenn
Daigle Memorial Highway"
1	AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 398 from Labadieville to Bayou L'Ourse in
3 Assumption Parish, Louisiana, as the "Commander Glenn Daigle Memorial
4 Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 398 that passes through Assumption
7Parish, Louisiana, between Labadieville and Bayou L'Ourse shall be known and is hereby
8designated as the "Commander Glenn Daigle Memorial Highway".
9 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
10hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
11provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
12actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
13exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are
received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, maintaining posts,
and installation of each sign, not to exceed $550 per sign.
