HIGHWAYS: Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 398 as the "Commander Glenn
Daigle Memorial Bridge"
1 AN ACT
2To designate the Louisiana Highway 1247 Bridge over Bayou Lafourche in Labadieville,
3 Louisiana, as the "Commander Glenn Daigle Memorial Bridge"; and to provide for
4 related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. The bridge on Louisiana Highway 1247 over Bayou Lafourche in
7Labadieville, Louisiana, shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Commander Glenn
8Daigle Memorial Bridge".
9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
10hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
11provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
12actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
13exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installation of each sign, not to exceed $550 per sign.

Highways and Public Works to the original bill:
1. Change the designation from Louisiana Highway 398 from Labadieville to
Bayou L'Ourse in Assumption Parish to La. Highway 1247 Bridge over Bayou
Lafourche in Labadieville, La.
2. Change "Commander Glenn Daigle Memorial Highway" to "Commander Glenn
Daigle Memorial Bridge".
