HEALTH CARE/FACILITIES: Designates Act No. 619 of the 2022 Regular Session as the
"Lane Allen Gottschalck Act"
1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact Section 4 of Act No. 619 of the 2022 Regular Session of the
3 Legislature and to enact R.S. 40:2193.6(D) and Section 5 of Act No. 619 of the 2022
4 Regular Session of the Legislature, relative to pediatric day healthcare facilities
5 licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health; to provide for designation of an act
6 of the legislature by means of a short title; and to provide for related matters.
7Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1. R.S. 40:2193.6(D) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
9 §2193.6. Cameras; condition of licensure

11 D. This Section is dedicated to the memory of Lane Allen Gottschalck.
12 Section 2. Section 4 of Act No. 619 of the 2022 Regular Session of the Legislature
13is hereby amended and reenacted and Section 5 of Act No. 619 of the 2022 Regular Session
14of the Legislature is hereby enacted to read as follows:
15 Section 3. This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Lane Allen Gottschalck
16Act".
17 Section 4. This Act shall become effective on January 1, 2023.

Proposed law provides that Act No. 619 of the 2022 Regular Session, relative to pediatric
day healthcare facilities licensed by the La. Dept. of Health, shall be known and may be
cited as the "Lane Allen Gottschalck Act".
Proposed law provides that R.S. 40:2193.6 is dedicated to the memory of Lane Allen
Gottschalck.
(Amends §4 of Act No. 619 of the 2022 R.S.; Adds R.S. 40:2193.6(D) and §5 of Act No.
619 of the 2022 R.S.)
