HIGHWAYS:  Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 657 in Larose, Louisiana, as the
"Clarence Marts, Jr. Memorial Highway"
1	AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 657 in Larose, Louisiana, as the "Clarence
3 Marts, Jr. Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  The portion of Louisiana Highway 657 between its intersection with
6Louisiana Highway 1 and Louisiana Highway 3235 in Larose, Louisiana, shall be known and
7is hereby designated as the "Clarence Marts, Jr. Memorial Highway".
8 Section 2.  The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractor are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installations of each sign, not to
12exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are
received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
