Abstract: Provides for convenience fees for use of electronic signatures.
Present law provides that the state may accept credit or debit cards for the payment of taxes, fees,
licenses, fines, penalties, interest, etc. Provides for a convenience fee for the use of a card for
payment.  Provides for the convenience fee to be charged by a third-party solution and paid by the
consumer, upon the consumer's approval.
Proposed law retains present law and adds convenience fees for the use of electronic signatures or
authorizations to be charged by a third-party solution and paid by the consumer, upon the consumer's
approval.
