1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 26:73(C)(1)(c) and 272(C)(1)(c), relative to alcoholic beverage
3 permits; to provide relative to the issuance of a Class "R" restaurant permit by the
4 commissioner for the sale of alcoholic beverages of high and low alcoholic content;
5 to provide relative to the definition of restaurant establishment; to provide relative
6 to the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption off of the premises; and to provide
7 for related matters.
8 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
9 Section 1.  R.S. 26:73(C)(1)(c) and 272(C)(1)(c) are hereby amended and reenacted
10 to read as follows: 
11 §73.  Restaurant "R" permit; application; fees

13	C.(1)  For purposes of this Section, "restaurant establishment" shall be
14 defined as an establishment:

16	(c)  Which maintains separate sales figures for alcoholic beverages and
17 prepares alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises or prepares alcoholic
18 beverages for consumption off premises with an appropriate lid or cover on the
19 container.
