Change the effective date to signature by the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action. Report rejects Senate amendments which would have: 1. Required technology approved by the treasurer pursuant to proposed law to ensure the privacy and security of personal and sensitive confidential information and to meet certain specified criteria. 2. Made technical changes Digest of the bill as proposed by the Conference Committee Proposed law allows a state entity to charge an optional convenience fee for use of an electronic signature in connection with official documents. Provides for the payment of the convenience fee by credit card, debit card, or other electronic payment approved pursuant to present law (R.S. 49:316.1). Provides for the convenience fee to be approved by the Senate Committee on Revenue and Fiscal Affairs and the House Committee on Ways and Means.
