Urges and requests the La. Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Dept. of Transportation and
Development to study the impact of wakeboard boats, wind, and drawdowns on fishing and
properties on False River.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by House
The House Floor Amendments to the engrossed bill:
1. Add the Dept. of Transportation and Development to work jointly with the Dept. of
Wildlife and Fisheries on the study.
2. Add the House Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works, the Senate
Committee on Transportation, Highways, and Public Works, and the Senate Committee
on Natural Resources to receive a copy of the written report.
3. Add wind and drawdowns to be considered as a part of the study.
