legislative action as well as an alternate safety installation for crossing LA 1.

Urges and requests that the Dept. of Transportation and Development reevaluate the location
of a crosswalk in the 4600 block of N. Market St., LA 1, in Shreveport, La., and to construct
an appropriate installation in this area to ensure the safety of pedestrians, prevent property
damage, and avert future deadly automobile accidents.
