Abstract: Provides for the usage of the House Chamber.
Present House Rule prohibits the House Chamber from being used as a public meeting place.
Proposed House Rule maintains this prohibition.
Present House Rule further confines the use of the House Chamber to Legislature of La., the

conduct of mock legislative sessions, and by other state agencies for the conduct of cultural or
educational programs, subject to the approval of the Speaker and in accordance with a usage policy
established by the Speaker.
