COMMENDATIONS: Commends Louisiana State University Laboratory School on being
named a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Louisiana State University Laboratory School on being named a 2022 National
3 Blue Ribbon School.
4 WHEREAS, the pursuit of educational excellence is vitally important to the success
5of our nation, and educational institutions that consistently demonstrate extraordinary
6commitment to academic achievement, innovation, and community engagement are most
7deserving of recognition and celebration; and
8 WHEREAS, Louisiana State University Laboratory School (U-High), which sits on
9the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, is a shining beacon of educational
10excellence and has been selected as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School in recognition of
11the school's exemplary accomplishments; and
12 WHEREAS, U-High demonstrates its dedication to fostering an enriching learning
13environment through its exceptional commitment to academic excellence; the school's
14distinction as a National Blue Ribbon School is a testament to the faculty's tireless efforts,
15inspiring leadership, and unwavering focus on the holistic development of their students; and
16 WHEREAS, U-High's commitment to cultivating a supportive and nurturing
17education ecosystem allows students to thrive and empowers them to grow and excel in their
18academic pursuits; the school has achieved this honor through its innovative teaching
19methodologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and passionate faculty and staff; and
20 WHEREAS, the administrators, teachers, staff members, and students of Louisiana
21State University Laboratory School are most deserving of the highest recognition for their

1relentless pursuit of knowledge and commitment to educational excellence; their collective
2efforts have resulted in the creation of a learning environment that fosters creativity and
3critical thinking and cultivates well-rounded individuals who are poised to make positive

5 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
6Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Louisiana State University Laboratory
7School on being named a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School; does hereby further recognize
8the school's impact on the lives of countless students, their families, and the community at
9large; and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that the school continue to prosper, especially
10in its mission to provide an outstanding educational experience to its students.
