Use of the Chamber 8 A. The House Chamber shall not be used as a public meeting place and its 9 use shall be confined to the House of Representatives and committees thereof and 10 the Legislature of Louisiana and committees thereof, the Democratic State Central 11 Committee, the Young Democrats of Louisiana, the Republican State Central 12 Committee, the Young Republicans of Louisiana, the Pelican Boys' State 13 Legislature, the Pelican Girls' State Legislature, the YMCA Youth Legislature, the 14 Silver Haired Legislature, the Louisiana Jaycee Action Legislature, and the 15 Louisiana Camp Fire Councils Legislature. 16 B. Present House Rule prohibits the House Chamber from being used as a public meeting place. Proposed House Rule maintains this prohibition. Present House Rule further provides that the use of the House Chamber is confined to the House of Representatives and committees thereof and the Legislature of La. and committees thereof.
