SPECIAL DAY/WEEK/MONTH: Commends the Louisiana Assisted Living Association
and recognizes April 25, 2023, as Assisted Living Day
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the Louisiana Assisted Living Association for its outstanding achievements
3 and to designate Tuesday, April 25, 2023, as Assisted Living Day in Louisiana.
4 WHEREAS, the mission of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association, the principal
5membership organization representing and promoting assisted living, is to promote the
6concept of Louisiana senior living and to be the primary resource to educate the public and
7legislators about Louisiana senior living and the high standards in our communities; and
8 WHEREAS, the Louisiana Assisted Living Association remains the voice for assisted
9living providers, communities, and clients as the association engages a caring, diverse, and
10dedicated membership seeking to champion excellence in growth, core values, quality
11partnerships, and a unified stance; and
12 WHEREAS, the demand for assisted living communities will continue to increase
13as the baby boomer generation continues to age; and
14 WHEREAS, Louisiana Assisted Living Association providers aspire to wisely apply
15the principals of altruism, excellence, caring, ethics, respect, communication, and
16accountability as they work with other professionals to achieve greater influence with respect
17to the assisted living industry; and
18 WHEREAS, the dedication of the women and men of the Louisiana Assisted Living
19Association have made a significant and positive difference in communities throughout the
20state, and the members of the association merit a special measure of commendation for their
21achievement in this regard.

1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
2Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members of the Louisiana Assisted
3Living Association for their outstanding achievements, their unwavering commitment to
4excellence in serving the state's citizens, and the honor they bring to the state of Louisiana.
5 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature
6of Louisiana does hereby designate Tuesday, April 25, 2023 as Assisted Living Day in
7Louisiana.
8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
9president of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association.
