COMMENDATIONS: Commends Reverend Ronald Perkins on the occasion of his
twentieth anniversary as pastor of Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Reverend Ronald Perkins on the occasion of his twentieth anniversary as
3 pastor of Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.
4 WHEREAS, Reverend Perkins was called to serve as pastor of Greater Zion Mission
5Baptist Church on November 24, 2002, and over the past twenty years, has served his faith
6community with humility, selflessness, and immense faith in accordance with the Great
7Commission written in Matthew 28:19-20; and
8 WHEREAS, Reverend Perkins gives empowering sermons that are guided by the
9Holy Spirit, and his teachings have helped many to rededicate themselves to God; and
10 WHEREAS, Reverend Ronald Perkins is a true servant of God and leader of his faith
11community; he is most deserving of the highest recognition for his incredible service to
12Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
14Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Reverend Ronald Perkins on the occasion
15of his twentieth anniversary as pastor of Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church and does
16hereby extend sincerest wishes that he continue to prosper as he faithfully serves the spiritual
17needs of his community.
