COMMENDATIONS: Commends Kaydence Bradford on her selection as a 2023 Louisiana
Public Broadcasting Young Hero
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Kaydence Bradford on her selection as a 2023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting
3 Young Hero.
4 WHEREAS, for twenty-eight years, Louisiana Public Broadcasting's (LPB) Young
5Heroes program has recognized state high school students who have excelled in academics,
6given significantly of themselves through public service, overcome adversity, exhibited
7extraordinary heroism, or displayed exceptional strength of character; and
8 WHEREAS, Kaydence Bradford is a senior at Liberty Magnet High School in Baton
9Rouge, Louisiana, and is one of the six 2023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting 2023 Louisiana
10Young Heroes; and
11 WHEREAS, Kaydence is a hardworking and persistent student who has dedicated
12countless hours to planning, coordinating, and implementing initiatives to promote her
13school and help her community; although she is highly involved at school and in her
14community, that is all on top of her primary responsibility as a caregiver and role model for
15her niece and two nephews; and
16 WHEREAS, Ms. Bradford is a truly inspiring young woman who is most deserving
17of the highest recognition for her astounding drive and accomplishments.
18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
19Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Kaydence Bradford on her selection as a
202023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting Young Hero and does hereby extend sincerest wishes
21that she continue her truly inspiring work and always strive for greatness.
