HLS 23RS-1663 ORIGINAL 2023 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 94 BY REPRESENTATIVE MUSCARELLO COMMENDATIONS: Commends the 2023 royal court of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo 1 A RESOLUTION 2To commend the 2023 royal court of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo. 3 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office (TPSO) Mounted Division is a 4volunteer organization that consists of deputies who offer their time, energy, vehicles, and 5horses to serve Tangipahoa Parish and the surrounding area; and 6 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo, which is sanctioned by the 7Professional Cowboy Association, was established in 2011 as a fundraiser to assist volunteer 8deputies with the costs associated with providing these services to the community; the rodeo 9is hosted by volunteer deputies and their equine partners every September; and 10 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo pageant was established in 2016 11and feature five age divisions; the 2023 royal court members are Miss TPSO Rodeo Queen, 12Dalen Clark, Teen Miss TPSO Rodeo Queen, Lainey Mitchell, Deb Miss TPSO Rodeo 13Queen, Madalyn Cooper, Little Miss TPSO Rodeo Queen, Aubrey Sutton, and Petite Miss 14TPSO Rodeo Queen, Hallie Mae Locascio; and 15 WHEREAS, the talented young women who make up the 2023 Tangipahoa Parish 16Sheriff's Rodeo royal court are most deserving of the highest recognition for their 17achievements. 18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the 19Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the 2023 royal court of the Tangipahoa 20Parish Sheriff's Rodeo; does hereby further recognize the volunteer deputies who make up 21the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Mounted Division for their service and dedication to Page 1 of 2 HLS 23RS-1663 ORIGINAL HR NO. 94 1the citizens of the parish; and does hereby extend sincerest wishes for the continued success 2of all those involved with the rodeo for many years to come.
