Requests the Louisiana State Nurses Association to convene a Nursing Maternal Mortality
and Preterm Births Task Force.
Provides for the membership and duties of the task force.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by House
The Committee Amendments Proposed by House Committee on Health and Welfare to
the original bill:
1. Remove references to the Louisiana Department of Health.
2. Remove the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health from the task force.
3. Add the president of DePaul Community Health Centers of New Orleans to the
task force.
4. Require the Resolution to be transmitted to the DePaul Community Health
Centers of New Orleans.
5. Make technical corrections.
