KEYWORD AND SUMMARY AS RETURNED TO THE SENATE
WOMEN. Requests the Louisiana State Nurses Association to convene a task force
to make recommendations regarding nursing involvement to improve maternal
outcomes.
SUMMARY OF HOUSE AMENDMENTS TO THE SENATE BILL
1. Changes the entity convening the task force from the Louisiana Department
of Health to the Louisiana State Nurses Association.
2. Remove the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health from the task
force.
3. Add the president of DePaul Community Health Centers of New Orleans and
the chief nursing officer of Woman's Hospital as members of the task force.
4. Require the Resolution to be transmitted to the DePaul Community Health
Centers of New Orleans and Woman's Hospital.
5. Make technical corrections.
