SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
1. Add a representative from the banking industry to the membership of the task
force.

AS RETURNED TO THE SENATE
SCR 31 Original 2023 Regular Session Womack
Creates the Task Force on Louisiana Automated Grain Grading.
Provides that the task force consists of the following members:
(1)The commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, or his
designee.
(2)The president of the Louisiana Cotton and Grain Association, or his designee.
(3)The president of the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation, or his designee.
(4)The chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and
Rural Development, or his designee.
(5)The chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and
Rural Development, or his designee.
(6)One member of the Louisiana Soybean and Grain Research and Promotion Board,
appointed by the commissioner of agriculture and forestry.
(7)One representative of a grain elevator, appointed by the commissioner of agriculture
and forestry.
(8)One representative from the banking industry, appointed by the Louisiana Bankers
Association.
Provides that recommendations shall be made no later than February 1, 2024.
