APPROPRIATIONS/SUPPLEML: Makes supplemental appropriations for Fiscal Year
2024-2025 (Item #18, 21, and 23)
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds and to make certain reductions from certain sources to be allocated to
3 the designated agencies and purposes in specific amounts for the making of
4 supplemental appropriations and reductions for said agencies and purposes for Fiscal
5 Year 2024-2025; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The following sums are hereby appropriated from the sources specified for
8the purpose of making supplemental appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. Reductions
9are denoted in parentheses.

4parts for students enrolled in a vocational
5agriculture, agribusiness, or agriscience course
6as of October 1, 2024. The city, parish, and
7other local public schools may match the
8dollars appropriated herein $ 200,000
9 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
10signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
11by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
12vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
13effective on the day following such approval.
