Abstract:  Removes the requirement that clerks of district courts collect and disburse a fee and
submit certain information required by the supreme court when suit has been filed in district
court for damages arising from an offense or quasi offense.
Present law requires clerks of district courts to collect and disburse a fee and submit information
required by the supreme court when a suit has been filed in district court for damages arising from
an offense or quasi offense.      
Present law provides that information received by the judicial administrator pursuant to present law
is not subject to subpoena. 
Proposed law repeals present law. 
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
