HIGHWAYS: Designates a portion of Highway 175 in Mansfield, Louisiana, in DeSoto
Parish as the "Jerius Marshall Highway"
1 AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 175 in Mansfield, Louisiana, in DeSoto Parish
3 as the "Jerius Marshall Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 175 from Par Road 552 to Par Road
649 in Mansfield, Louisiana, in DeSoto Parish shall be known and is hereby designated as the
7"Jerius Marshall Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installations of each sign, not to
12exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are
received by the DOTD equal to its actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installations of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
