Abstract: Permits the sale of certain alcoholic beverages in certain restaurant establishments in the
town of Winnsboro.
Present law provides that no person shall sell any beverage of high alcoholic content in violation of
any lawful ordinance adopted by a parish or municipality.
Proposed law exempts restaurant establishments in the town of Winnsboro that gain at least 80% of
their average monthly revenue from the sale of food and permits the sale of beverages of high
alcoholic content in those establishments until 11:00 p.m. each day of operation.
