Existing law provides that no person shall sell any beverage of high alcoholic content in
violation of any lawful ordinance adopted by a parish or municipality.
New law exempts restaurant establishments in the town of Winnsboro that gain at least 80%
of their average monthly revenue from the sale of food and permits the sale of beverages of
high alcoholic content in those establishments until 11:00 p.m. each day of operation.
Effective August 1, 2024.
