HEALTH/SICKLE CELL ANEM: Provides relative to the membership of the Louisiana
Sickle Cell Commission
1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1125.1(A), relative to the Louisiana Sickle Cell Commission;
3 to provide for the membership of the commission; to specifically limit the
4 membership of the commission; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 40:1125.1(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง1125.1. Louisiana Sickle Cell Commission
8 A. There shall be established within the Louisiana Department of Health a
9 commission designated the "Louisiana Sickle Cell Commission", composed of
10 seventeen members as provided in Subsection B of this Section. No organization,
11 entity, or individual shall be a member unless expressly provided for in Subsection
12 B of this Section.

member La. Sickle Cell Commission (commission).
