Abstract: Authorizes full size trawl gear for bait shrimp on permitted vessels.
Present law specifies specific gear that may be used to take bait shrimp during the closed seasons,
and provides for gear that may not be used to take bait shrimp.
Proposed law modifies present law by allowing for bait shrimp to be taken subject to the conditions
of the special bait dealers permit as provided by the commission.
