BLANC AND SENATOR ALLAIN CORONERS: Provides relative to the Coroner's Operational Fund for St. Mary Parish 1 AN ACT 2To enact R.S. 13:5722(A)(2)(h), relative to courts in St. Mary Parish; to require an 3 additional court fee in criminal matters in all courts in St. Mary Parish; to provide 4 relative to the coroner's operational fund; and to provide for related matters. 5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 13:5722(A)(2)(h) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง5722. Present law establishes the Coroner's Operational Fund and a criminal court fee on certain defendants dedicated to defraying the operational costs of the office of the coroner in the parish in which the conviction occurred. Proposed law authorizes all courts in St. Mary Parish to collect a fee of not less than $5 nor more than $10 for the support of the coroner.
