Code of Criminal Procedure Article 999 is hereby enacted to read as 7follows: 8 Art. 999. Expungement of arrest records for certain individuals 9 A person shall be entitled to the automatic expungement of his arrest, at no 10 cost to him, if he meets all of the following: 11 (1) He is seventeen years of age when he is arrested or charged with any 12 criminal offense as provided in Title 14 of the Louisiana Revised Statues of 1950. 13 (2) The charge forming the basis for his arrest is subsequently dismissed or 14 has been charged by an entry of a nolle prosequi.
