ENROLLED 2024 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 560 BY REPRESENTATIVE HUGHES 1 AN ACT 2 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:4702(B)(2)(introductory paragraph), (b), (c), (d), (g), and (h) 3 and to repeal R.S. 33:4702(B)(2)(i), relative to the New Orleans Regional Business 4 Park; to provide relative to the board of commissioners; to provide for membership 5 and the qualifications and terms of members; and to provide for related matters. 6 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published 7 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of 8 Louisiana. 9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 10 Section 1. R.S. 33:4702(B)(2)(introductory paragraph), (b), (c), (d), (g), and (h) are 11 hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 12 ยง4702. Board of commissioners; appointment and term; organization 13 B. 14 * * * 15 (2) The board shall be composed of thirteen twelve members who shall be 16 appointed as follows: 17 * * * 18 (b) The state senator whose senatorial district is defined in R.S. 24:35(A)(4) 19 from Senate District 4 shall appoint one member. 20 (c) The state senator whose senatorial district is defined in R.S. 24:35(A)(3) 21 from Senate District 3 shall appoint one member.
