Abstract: Provides relative to the composition of the Council on Peace Officer Standards and
Training under the La. Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal
Justice.
Present law provides for the composition of the Council on Peace Officer Standards and Training
under the La. Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice, and
provides for the attorney general and 11 other appointees as members of the commission.
Proposed law changes the name of one of the members from the La. Chapter of the National
Constables Assoc. to the La. City Marshals and City Constables Assoc.
