Abstract: Provides an additional definition for "peace officer".
Present law provides definitions for the terms "governmental entity", "law enforcement training
course", and "peace officer".
Proposed law retains present law.
Proposed law provides that "peace officer" shall also include the inspector general of the city of New
Orleans and employee investigators of the local office of the inspector general in the city of New
Orleans.
