R.S. 33:3812(K) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 11 ยง3812. Waterworks commissioners; qualifications 12 * * * 13 K. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection A of this Section, the 14 membership of the board of commissioners of the South Cameron Consolidated 15 Waterworks District No. 1 of Cameron Parish shall be comprised of six members 16 appointed by the governing authority of Cameron Parish. Present law requires that all waterworks districts created under present law be governed by a board of five members. Provides exceptions. Proposed law makes an exception for the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 of Cameron Parish. Provides that the district shall be governed by a board of six members appointed by the governing authority of the parish.
