Abstract: Provides for the number of commissioners on the board of the South Cameron
Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 of Cameron Parish.
Present law requires that all waterworks districts created under present law be governed by a board
of five members. Provides exceptions.
Proposed law makes an exception for the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1
of Cameron Parish. Provides that the district shall be governed by a board of six members appointed
by the governing authority of the parish.
