ACT 182 (HB 7) 2024 Regular Session Bourriaque
Existing law requires that all waterworks districts created under existing law be governed by
a board of five members. Provides exceptions.
New law provides an exception for the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District
No. 1 of Cameron Parish. Provides that the district shall be governed by a board of six
members appointed by the governing authority of the parish.
Effective August 1, 2024.
