Abstract: Provides a child support guideline schedule which is based on current economic and tax
data.
Present law provides a child support guideline schedule which is based on economic estimates of
child-rearing expenditures as a portion of household consumption.
Proposed law amends present law to incorporate the most recent economic estimates of child-rearing
expenditures as a portion of household consumption.
Present law provides that the minimum combined adjusted monthly gross income ranges between
$0-$950.
Proposed law amends the monthly basic child support obligations and utilizes $1050 as the minimum
adjusted monthly gross income.
Effective Jan. 1, 2025.
