Abstract: Modifies the definition of audiologist.
Present law defines "audiologist" as an individual who offers to provide or provides services
involving the science and profession of audiology.
Present law provides that an audiologist may sell and dispense hearing aids.
Proposed law adds to the definition of "audiologist" the profession of speech-language pathology.
